Raising Skilled Readers “Give $50, Get $50” Referral Program Terms & Conditions

The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Raising Skilled Readers Referral Program (“Program”), operated by The Institute of Reading Development, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By participating in the Program, you (“Participant,” “Referrer,” or “Friend”) agree to these Terms.

1. Program Overview

The Raising Skilled Readers “Give $50, Get $50” Program rewards existing customers (“Referrers”) for referring new customers (“Friends”) to purchase any tutoring product offered through https://www.readingprograms.com

• The Referrer will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card for each qualified referral.

• The Friend will receive a $50 discount on their first tutoring product purchase of any type or billing duration.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Program is open to individuals aged 18 or older who reside in the United States.
2.2 Referrers must have an active Raising Skilled Readers account and be in good standing.
2.3 Friends must be new customers who have not previously purchased, enrolled in, or trialed any Raising Skilled Readers or Institute of Reading Development tutoring product.

3. How It Works

3.1 The Referrer shares their unique referral link or code provided by the Company.
3.2 The Friend must use that referral link or code at checkout to receive their $50 discount.
3.3 Once the Friend completes a valid tutoring purchase, and the 21-day cancellation window has passed without refund or cancellation, the Referrer becomes eligible to receive a $50 Visa Gift Card.
3.4 Each referral is subject to verification by the Company. Duplicate, fraudulent, or self-referrals are not eligible.

4. Reward Details

4.1 Referrer Reward – The $50 Visa Gift Card will be issued after the referred Friend’s 21-day cancellation window has closed, provided the Friend’s purchase remains active and paid in full.
4.2 Gift cards will be delivered via email after the 21-day period ends.
4.3 Friend Reward – The Friend receives a $50 discount automatically applied during checkout when using a valid referral link or code.
4.4 Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
4.5 If a Friend cancels or requests a refund within the initial 21-day window, the Referrer’s reward will be voided or rescinded.

5. Limitations

5.1 There is no limit to the number of qualified referrals a Referrer may make, provided all referrals meet program requirements.
5.2 Rewards will not be granted for:

• Referrals that cannot be tracked through the referral platform,

• Friends who use another person’s referral link,

• Friends who cancel or request refunds within 21 days of purchase.
  5.3 The Company reserves the right to disqualify participants for fraudulent activity, misuse of materials, or violation of these Terms.

6. Modification or Termination

6.1 The Company may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
6.2 Changes will be effective immediately upon posting at readingprograms.com.
6.3 Verified rewards earned before termination will be honored if compliant with these Terms.

7. Taxes

Referrers are solely responsible for any taxes arising from receipt of Visa Gift Card rewards. The Company may request tax documentation if rewards exceed applicable reporting thresholds.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for lost, delayed, or misdirected rewards; system errors; or technical malfunctions affecting participation or tracking. Our total liability is limited to the verified reward value owed to the participant.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the Raising Skilled Readers “Give $50, Get $50” Referral Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
